Accessing Oxford Dictionaries Premium remotely
OUP is committed to helping teachers, learners, and academics during this time of a global health crisis. Given the recent college and university closures, we would like to do what we can to support institutions and students adapting to distance learning.
Accessing Oxford Dictionaries Premium
Your method of accessing the Oxford Dictionaries Premium will depend on what your institution has set up for remote authentication.
If you are signing in to Oxford Dictionaries Premium from an institution which has a subscription, or if your institution uses a referring URL system, you should enter the site automatically. The most usual methods of access are listed below:
Via a library
Your librarian will be able to tell you if remote access is currently available to you for Oxford Dictionaries Premium.
If your library does allow remote access, visit the login page and type in your library card number where it says ‘Log in with a library card’. If you encounter difficulties entering the site using your library card number, please consult your librarian.
Remote or off-site access is available to all institutional subscribers at no additional cost. If you are a librarian and would like assistance with setting up remote access, please contact us:
